Welcome to Mountain View Church's Cambodia Team!

Our aim is to learn more about the culture, customs, and spiritual realities of Cambodia, while looking for opportunities to be the good news of Jesus Christ as we encourage and work with our long term Global Partner Collette Nybakken.

Cambodia Field Description & Background:
  • From Global Partners: Our vision is to see the light of Jesus impact Cambodia, a 97% Buddhist country. This vision is realized through discipleship multiplication, English education, sports ministry, community health evangelism, and pastoral development through our online Bible curriculum. We work with local churches and pastors who are committed to expanding the Kingdom of God in Cambodia and beyond!

Prerequisites

  1. Participants must complete a background check
  2. Team members must have an active passport on file
  3. Visa applications will be completed prior to trip

Restrictions

  1. Must be 18 years old or older
  2. Must be connected to Mountain View Church (Aumsville, Oregon)
  3. Must have an active Christian faith

Preparation

  1. Pray and fast for God's provision and power
  2. Secure a valid passport (if you don't already have one)
  3. Commit to team meetings for cultural learning, encouragement, and spiritual preparation
