NEXT Week: Karis [IWU]

Spend a week in May serving alongside a team from IWU and learning from local ministry leaders serving with Global Partners in Karis, a mission field in Central Asia. Get a taste of cross-cultural ministry on a short-term trip. Experience a new culture, participate in local ministry events, and engage with God's global mission.

During NEXT Week: Karis, you’ll have the opportunity to join ministry and community activities aimed at reaching Muslim people in Central Asia. Come alongside the long-term ministry team and assist with English classes for refugees, learn valuable tools for connecting with people of the Muslim faith, and savor some delicious food. This experience will broaden your perspective as you immerse yourself in a unique culture at the crossroads of Persia, Europe, and the Middle East. Explore a city of 5 million, where you’ll find a harmonious blend of ancient mosques and modern skyscrapers. Additionally, you’ll gain insights into the global church as you engage with house churches, listen to testimonies, and offer encouragement to persecuted believers. 

This trip is open to Indiana Wesleyan University students. 

• Site Description: In Central Asia we focus on engaging our community and building redemptive relationships with Muslims. We also offer educational opportunities to refugees and impoverished families through World Hope International. Learn along with us as we strive to establish a multiplying house church network reaching the unreached in some of the darkest places.
